Welcome to the Haddon Heights Fire Department
The Haddon Heights Fire Department is primarily a
Volunteer Fire Department that proudly celebrated its centennial in 2004. The Department was incorporated December 4, 1904.
Over the years many innovations have changed the way the Haddon Heights Fire Department provided service to the residents of
Haddon Heights as well as many surrounding communities. Although there have been many changes in the way services is provided,
the purpose of the Department has remained constant: provide the citizens of Haddon Heights professional, state of the art fire
suppression service at a reasonable cost while maintaining the highest degree of safety to
its members as well as those being served.
Mission Statement
The Haddon Heights Fire Department provides service to the residents of Haddon Heights and to surrounding communities to preserve and protect life and property. The Haddon Heights Fire Department accomplishes this by providing highly trained fire fighters to the scene of a call for service in a timely manner on properly equipped and maintained apparatus. The Haddon Heights Fire Department will also aggressively work with the citizenry to provide comprehensive education and training in methods of fire prevention and providing a fire safe environment in their daily lives. The Haddon Heights Fire Department will strive to protect the lives of our neighbors, our lives and property of others; however, the protection and preservation of life will always be our priority.
