Explorer Post 2-1 |
 |
The Haddon Heights Explorer Post is an organization that has been established in association with the Boy Scouts of America, comprised of young people who work with and learn the science of fire fighting. The explorers are mentored by veteran members of the Haddon Heights Fire Department while participating in training, calls for service and other department activities. The program is open to young people who have completed the eighth grade and are at least fourteen years of age. A strict emphasis is placed on the full development of the individual both within the fire service as well as academically. Parental involvement is a key to the success of the program. For additional information and to request an application, please contact the administrative offices of the Haddon Heights Fire Department by calling 856-546-7135 or by stopping by the fire house Monday thru Friday 8am to 4pm, or Monday nights at 7pm.
You can visit the explorers' website - www.explorers.haddonheightsfire.org. This website is entirely designed and maintained by members of Explorer Post 2-1 to further educate them in the field of website design & maintenance.
